The Five Facets of The Raison D’iet

The Raison D’iet

If you thought this diet was about eating raisins you are confused-Raison is a French word meaning reason. A diet that has a reason, to make yourself healthier and improve your overall appearance. I developed the “Raison D’iet” as a makeover diet. Be warned, the Raison D’iet is not about the scale as much as your overall health and appearance.

Obviously any diet will work if you simply change your eating habits and increase activity. But if a diet is too restrictive or feels like a punishment-you won’t stay on it for very long—even if it works! I honestly believe we give the number on a scale far too much power. The truth is, it doesn’t matter what you weigh as long as your body is proportioned and fit. There are so many overlooked factors that a scale just can’t measure-height, age, sex, how big is your chest and neck compared to your belly and thighs…and so on.

Additionally just the act of loosing weight isn’t a solution to improving your overall look. There are many things you can do during your weight loss efforts that will enhance your diet results. It’s also a way to reaffirm your desire to look and feel better since true weight loss is a process that takes time to achieve.

So how does it work? There are 5 facets to the Raison D’iet.

1. Food
2. Cleansing
3. Skin Care
4. Personal Accents
5. Muscle Tone

Each of the facets are outlined in the respective pages and blogs of www.raisondiet.com
